I have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey unto Moses Auvenshine and his heirs for ever for the consideration of Ten Hundred and twenty dollars to me paid a tract of land lying in the State of Tennessee Carroll County Civil District 17 & 10 being a part of 157 acres granted to W.C. Crutchfeild. Begining on a stake blackjack prs. the N.W. corner of this tract runs thence south 122 poles to a stake blackjack and poast oak prs. Phillips corner thence East 5 N 148 poles to a stake water oak prs. thence north 103 poles to a stake blackjack & oak prs. thence west 145 poles to the begining containing 102 acres be the same more or less to have and to hold to the said Moses Auvenshine his heirs and assigns for-ever
I do covenant with said Moses Auvenshine that I am lawfully seized of said land have a good right to convey it and that the same is unincum-bered. I further covenant and bind myself my heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to said land against the lawful claims of all persons whatsoever.
