This indenture made the Sixth day of February in the year of Our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Seventy two by and between Wm Stroker & Robert Stroker Executors of Robt Stroker deceased of the one part . Moses Auvenshine of the other part , All of the County of Carroll and State of Tennessee

Witnefseth that the same Wm Stroker & Robert Stroker executors of will of same deceased for and in consideration of the sum of eleven hundred and seventy dollars to us in hand paid the receipt is hereby acknowledged hath Sold as Executors of Robt Stroker deceased unto Moses Auvenshine his heirs a certain tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in County & state aforesaid On the waters of Big Sandy in district 17" being the North end of a tract entered in name of Robt Stroker for 240 acres and runs as follows  Beginning on a stake Small hickory pointer a North West Corner of Wm Stroker  and run North 70 poles to a stake post oak pts thence East 39 poles to a stake a white oak thence North 60 poles to a Black Oak White Oak pointers W H Groom's Corner thence East with Grooms South boundary 153 poles to a Stake White Oak point-ers thence South 134 poles to a Stake Chestnut and other pts thence West 192 poles to the beginning containing 140 acres with all and Sinyulus the heretoit amends and appurtenance thereunto belonging or in any wise ap-portioning and all estate right title interest claim and demand whatever of us as Executors the said Wm & Robert Stroker of in and to the said land and premises and every part and parcel there of to have and to hold the said land and premises above named and every part and parcel thereof with the apperenancey unto the said Moses Auvenshine his heirs and as-signs to the proper use and behoof of the said Moses.

his heirs and assigns forever and said Wm & Robt Stroker as Executors for themselves the said lands and premises and every part and parcel thereof against ourselves as Executors of the will of Robt Stroker deceased will warrant and forever defend as Executors same will to the said Moses Auvenshine his heirs and assigns  In witness where of the said Wm Stroker & Robert Stroker Executors of said will has hereunto set Our hands and seals the day and date above written

Personally appeared before me W H Eason clerk   the County Court of said County J W Stroker and  Noah Myers Subscribing Witness to the foregoing deed Who being first Sworn deposed and said that they are ac-quainted   Wm Stroker and Robert Stroker the bargainors and that they ac-knowledged the same in the presents to be their act any deed upon the day it being date

This indenture made the 6th day of Feb in the year of Our Lord One thou-sand eight hundred and seventy five by and between Moses Auvenshine of one part and W H Groom of the other part all of the County of Carroll and State of Tennessee Witnepeth them the said Moses Auvenshine for and in consideration of the sum two hundred & fifty dollars to him in hand paid the receipt where of is hereby acknowledge hath grantee bargained and sold and by presents doth grant bargain and ,sell unto the said W H Groom his heirs and assigns a certain tract or parcel of land

District No 17 being the North end of a tract of land entered in the name of Robt Stroker for 249 acres and runs as follows; Beginning on a Black Oak the North West corner of said entry running East 153 poles to a stake White Oak pts thence South 21 poles to a stake Beech & Chestnut pts thence West 153 poles to a stake Red Oak pointers thence North 21 poles to the Beginning containing 20 acres &13 poles with all and sinyueur the hereditaments and appurtenance and all estate right title interest claim and demand whatever of him the said Moses Auvenshine of in and to the said land and premises and every part and parcel thereof to have and to hold the said land and premises above mentioned and every part and parcel thereof with the appentenancy unto the Said W H Groom his heirs and as signs to the only proper use and behoof of the said W H Groom his heirs and as signs forever and the said Moses Auvenshine for himself and his heirs the same land and premises and every part and parcel thereof against himself and his heirs and all & every other person whatever will warrant and forever defend to the said WH Groom his heirs and apprising   In wit-ness the whereof the said Moses Auvenshine has hereunto set his hand and seal the day and date above written

Personally appeared before me W C Eason Clerk of the County Court of said County Moses Auvenshine the bargainor with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged that he executed the foregoing deed for the purpose therein contained upon the day it bears date,
